Annual United Way Chicken-Q announced for May 10th
Wilkes County United Way will host it's annual Chicken-Que fund raiser on Friday, May 10th from 10 am until sold out. Pitmaster Gerald Lankford will be this year's chef. Plates are $7.00 and include a half bbq chicken, slaw, beans, roll and a dessert cake.

Orders are being accepted now through May 8th and plates can be delivered for orders of 10 or more. Since the event always sells out, order your plates prior to May 8th by calling 651-7803, or by faxing your request to 651-7807, or by emailing chickman@uwwilkes.org.

All proceeds from this sale will be used to help offset campaigning cost for United Way of Wilkes County's annual fall community campaign.
